Behaviour Modification

Dogs that make your life harder aren’t being difficult — they’re having a difficult time. Together, we’ll uncover what’s driving your dog’s behaviour, help them feel safe, and guide them toward calmer, more appropriate ways to respond.

My approach is grounded in empathy, clear communication, and science-based methods that never use fear or pain. With patience and realistic goals, we’ll build your dog’s confidence and strengthen your relationship.

With experience working with dogs of all temperaments and backgrounds, I’ll guide you through practical steps that make daily life calmer and more enjoyable for both of you. I’ll meet you and your dog exactly where you are, and support you every step of the way.

I can assist you with:

  • Fear aggression towards dogs and people

  • Lead reactivity

  • Frustration

  • Destructive behaviour

  • Excessive barking, licking and chewing

  • Resource guarding

  • Reactivity towards visitors

  • Settle in a new adopted dog and more

Basic Obedience Training

Training is about communication, not control. I’ll help you teach your dog how to make good choices using clear cues, motivation, and reward-based learning. Together, we’ll build skills that improve focus, calmness, and cooperation in everyday life.

Each session combines demonstration, guided practice, and feedback so you feel confident applying the techniques on your own. By moving at your dog’s natural learning pace, we set them up for real understanding — not just obedience.

I can assist you with:

  • Loose lead walking

  • Recall

  • Jumping on people

  • Stealing and guarding items

  • Excessive barking

  • Crate training

  • Harness training

  • Grooming

  • Muzzle training

  • Managing prey drive and more

  • Fun trick training or games for confidence building

Puppy Training

Early training lays the foundation for a lifetime of good behaviour. With the right mix of structure, play, and socialisation, boundaries and training your puppy will grow into a confident and well-adjusted adult dog.

My puppy training programme focuses on key developmental milestones — building positive associations, preventing problem behaviours, and supporting your puppy’s emotional wellbeing.

We’ll explore what life with your future adult dog should look like, tailoring training to your breed’s traits and your lifestyle. Using evidence-based, positive reinforcement methods, I’ll demonstrate each exercise and coach you in practising it with confidence.

I can assist you with:

Toileting

  • Biting, jumping

  • Feeding, handling, grooming

  • Exercise, settling

  • Separation, patience

  • sit

  • down

  • stay

  • loose lead walking

  • Recall

“Using force to change the behaviour and feelings of another sentient being is not power. It is an abject demonstration of one's lack of power.” - Matt Beisner
